- Grind Life Feat. Freeway & Freeway Ricky ross
- THE REAL Feat. Cmezzy
Often compared to Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole, C.Carter comfortably fits into a category most female artists struggle to accomplish; an EmCee, not just a Rapper. C.Carter is often told that her sound is needed in hip-hop. Her lyrical content consist of stories and situations that average listeners actually experience on a daily basis or can somehow relate to. The thought-invoking wordplay, clever song structure and catchy hooks all seem to be an added bonus. C.Carter's natural talent as a songwriter is evident in every song. She was once asked why she chose to be a rapper, she replied "because I cant sing". The influence she draws from legendaries such as Lauryn Hill and Missy Elliot help C.Carter create a sound that invites listeners to think outside of the box, but forces them to have a good time doing it. C.Carter has shared the mic, stage, and songs with industry favorites such as Snoop Dogg, Jazze Pha, Philly Freeway, Nissan Stewart, Joe Moses, Reed Dollaz, Crooked I, Waka Flocka Flame, DJ Kidd Capri, Scarface, Benzino, and Trae Tha Truth to name a few. She has performed at world famous venues and events such as SXSW (South By Southwest) Music Festival 2013 in Austin, Texas, The World Famous Whisky A-Go- Go, The Roxy, and The House of Blues Hollywood. She has been featured on a number of television and radio shows including Russell Brand's "Brand X" on FX, and KJLH 102.3 FM. C.Carter's most recent project entitled, "Kurrupted Mindz" includes production from C.Carter, herself (yes, she produces too) and Dzyne whom is Kendrick Lamar's drummer and mentor. She is currently simultaneously working on an, as of yet untitled EP, and her first album.
