Rose Lilah updates HNHH daily, while also managing the other writers on staff and all HNHH contributors. She oversees site content in general, whether that be video, editorial, or music. Not so unlike Kanye, she just wants one thing out of life: dopeness.

Alex Zidel – Managing Editor
Alex Zidel began working at HotNewHipHop as a Staff Writer in February 2018 before becoming the Managing Editor in June 2019.
Mitch Findlay – Features Editor
Mitch Findlay is a writer and Hip Hop journalist based in Montreal. Resident old head by default. Enjoys writing Original Content about music, albums, lyrics, and rap history. His favorite memories include interviewing J.I.D and EarthGang at the “Revenge Of The Dreamers 3” studio sessions in Atlanta and receiving a phone call from Dr. Dre. In his spare time, he makes horror movies.

Aron A. is a music writer and journalist currently based in Montreal. Focused on Hip Hop culture, he seeks to discover the stories behind the art.
Alexander Cole – Sports & Sneakers Editor
Alex is a Concordia University journalism alumni who currently writes daily content related to sports and sneakers for HNHH. Over the past year, he has interviewed the likes of Damian Lillard, Steve Stoute, DJ Scream, and even Antonio Brown. Some of his work includes our first long-form investigative piece, Rap Or Go To The League, as well as various pieces of Original Content centered around trending topics in sports and streetwear. Alex has also started hosting Sneaker Unboxings for the HNHH YouTube page. While the audience may not enjoy his dry sense of humor, his mom certainly does.
Erika Marie – Staff Writer
Erika Marie is a seasoned journalist who works predominantly in the fields of music, true crime, spirituality, mental health advocacy, and social activism. The Los Angeles-based writer, blogger, resin artist, and poet has been actively involved in the behind-the-scenes workings of the entertainment industry for 15 years. E.M. attempts to write stories that are compelling while remaining informative and respectful. She believes in laughing often, being kind… and blasting Motown, New Jack Swing, ’90s R&B & Hip Hop hits, & Indie Rock at obnoxious levels. She’s also an advocate of lyrical witticism & the power of the pen.
Cole Blake – Staff Writer
Cole Blake is a Queens, NY-based writer who is finishing up his BA in Journalism at St. John’s University. An HNHH internship is an excellent opportunity for students to gain real-world experience in a dynamic and creative work environment. A successful intern must possess a good work ethic, be punctual, be a self-starter, and exhibit excellent organizational and team skills. Ultimately, we are looking for interns that have the drive to move their careers forward in a work environment that recognizes talent, hard work, and growth potential.
