Metro Boomin Explains The Origin Of His "If Young Metro Don't Trust You" Tag
If you're a rap fan, there's no way you're not familiar with Metro Boomin's latest producer tag, "If Young Metro don't trust you they gon' shoot you," which has appeared both on Future and Drake's "Jumpman," and -- even more prominently -- on Kanye West's "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1". If you're a big enough Future fan, you'll know that the phrase was first uttered on Uncle Murda's "Right Now," which featured Future, but according to Metro, who discussed it with DJ Drama recently, the vocal he isolated didn't actually appear on the track.

The tracklist is stacked though, so let's hope Weezy didn't spare quality for quantity.

Did Future Diss Meek Mill On "Big Rings"?
What a Time to Be Alive is the most sensationalized event this year next to Drake's beef with Meek Mill. Meek attempted to expose Drake when Dreams Worth More Than Money was the No. 1 album in the country. His fortunes soon reversed, and before we knew it, he was the laughingstock of the rap world.
Drake & Future's "What A Time To Be Alive" By The Numbers
The much anticipated Drake & Future collaboration project What A Time To Be Alive dropped over the weekend, specifically, last night at 8 PM EST. Like the rest of the world, we couldn't wait to get our hands on it and delve deep. Although it hasn't even been 24 hours since the release, we've managed to listen over and over again, track by track, and broke it down into numbers: everything from the amount of producers that touched the boards, to the number of cars that Future mentions.
Did Drake Just Confirm The Mixtape With Future Or Is He Trolling?
The internet has been buzzing with rumors of a Drake and Future tape over the last week, but so far there's been no sign of it. 10 Rappers Who Sound Like Other Rappers
As soon as the "If Young Metro don't trust you, I'ma shoot you" drop appeared in the middle of Kanye's MSG performance last week, an audible "Damn..." came from the crowd seated in the theater with me. 'A Ye and Future song?!', we all asked ourselves, struggling to calculate just how many flame emojis we'd have to use when describing the track to those who missed the listening session. That little soundbite was indeed Nayvadius Wilburn's voice, but the verse that followed was not, though it might not have been until after the show concluded that you realized it.
Desiigner's New "Moon People" Track Sounds Just Like You Know Who
As his one and only release, "Panda," is currently the No. 1 song in the country, a new Desiigner track has surfaced titled "Moon People." The GOOD Music-signed rapper was seen turning up to a recording of the song on his Snapchat, and the song has now leaked online. Desiigner's meteoric rise to fame has not been without controversy, as many consider him to be little more than a Future impersonator. These rampant allegations of biting have likely only contributed to the ubiquitous buzz around the Atlanta-sounding Brooklyn rapper.
Future Took Jabs At Desiigner & Ciara Last Night In Syracuse
The media has enjoyed pitting Desiigner against Future, though it's obvious the former is greatly influenced by the latter. Desiigner has responded to all those who consider him a Future knock-off with a troll-ish strategy that seems to only incite his detractors and make the FutureHive more angry.
