Well here’s some ironically good news. On Thanksgiving, 50 Cent was supposed to release The Kanan Tape for us while we wait for his upcoming Street King Immortal album to arrive, but that definitely didn’t happen.
After being released from prison just this August, it was reported Friday that Roc-A-Fella rapper Beanie Sigel had been shot in the torso. According to NBC 10 Philadelphia, the rapper is still in critical condition after going through surgery.
As we previously reported, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were looking to sue the man who leaked footage of their engagement proposal-- it turned out to be YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley. Now a lawsuit has been filed by the couple.
Kanye West has been at the focus of the media lately, perhaps more so than usual, because of his seemingly spur-of-the-moment announcement that he plans to run for President in 2020, as well as his NYFW show for Yeezy Season 2.
UPDATE (02/07/15 10:19 AM): "That B.E.A.T." director Chris Black has revealed that Beyoncé's team did try to license footage from his documentary last month, though he maintains a deal was never struck.
Meek Mill announced at the beginning of January that he was working on a new album and that it would arrive in 2014. Following that up, we found out Timbaland was putting in studio time with Meek for this LP.
