A Song-By-Song Guide To Young Thug's "No, My Name Is Jeffery"
Late last night, after a few delays as well as a number of different and increasingly confusing tracklists, 300 Entertainment finally released Young Thug's third project of the year: No, My Name Is Jeffery. Just before, Thug shared what has to be the most memorable album cover of the year, showing him in a floor-length periwinkle dress with his face obscured by an umbrella-like hat that, the likes of which has never before sat on a rapper's head. But with this project, Thug is intent on proving himself to be far more than just a rapper.
Zaytoven Shares Details On Upcoming Drake & Gucci Mane Project
Right around the release of Gucci Mane's first album post-prison, Everybody Looking, the rapper's go-to producer Zaytoven revealed the next project Gucci had his sights on: a joint effort with Drake. Zay has been the main person speaking out on the project thus far, and he continues to shed light on how it transpired in a new interview with Vlad TV.
Charts Don't Lie: August 10
DJ Khaled has plenty of reason to celebrate this week. Khaled earned his first #1 debut with his ninth studio album Major Key-- obviously all that Snapchatting paid off. The record rides high on collaborations with everyone from Jay Z to YG, Kendrick Lamar to Future, although Khaled probably has more than enough star power by himself at this point. Drake follows right behind him with VIEWS, a record that has spent most of the summer at #1.
Gucci Mane Teases "Woptober"

Charts Don't Lie: August 3
Gucci Mane is making his comeback Billboard official this week, coming in at the #2 overall spot with his latest album Everybody Looking, which also has a couple tracks debuting on the Hot 100. Gucci's efforts aren't quite enough to displace Drake from the #1 spot, however, as he takes the crown for the 12th week with VIEWS. Rihanna and Beyonce maintain positions within the top 10, and ScHoolboy Q's Blank Face slips down the charts after a strong debut.
Rae Sremmurd Shares The Updated Tracklist For "SremmLife 2"
Rae Sremmurd's sophomore album, SremmLife 2, has suffered some delays, but the changes made to the album are worth the wait. The iTunes pre-order has been updated with two new tracks, the hypnotic summer jam, "#DoYoga," and the very promising "Black Beatles," featuring a guest appearance from none other than Gucci Mane.
Drake's "VIEWS" Gains Most No. 1 Weeks Since Adele's "21"
Drake's VIEWS, released at the end of April, is still the No. 1 album in the US. The album has earned its 12th nonconsecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. After going No. 1 for its first nine weeks of release, VIEWS briefly gave up the top spot to Blink-182's California three weeks ago. Now back at No.

The Best Hip Hop Songs (On Spotify) Of July 2016
HNHH recently launched a Spotify playlist called FIRE EMOJI: The Hottest Hip Hop Songs Right Now. The playlist is updated on a daily basis. It lives on Spotify and thus is inherently imperfect, because not all super-hot hip hop songs have been added to Spotify. Still, the playlist is generally representative of the best new releases in hip hop.
Waka Flocka Suggests He & Gucci Mane Still Aren't On Good Terms
While they were once a powerful team, collaborating regularly and putting out the joint project Ferrari Boyz, Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka have not been on good terms for years now. While many fans hoped to see a reunion between the two when Guwop was released earlier this year, it seems things have not come any closer to being worked out between the two.

Gucci Mane's "Everybody Looking" (Review)
I didn't listen to each and every one of the 32 projects Gucci Mane released during his three year stint in federal prison, but I can say that of the 15 or so I am familiar with, none have anything approaching how heavy the majority of his first post-prison release is. Gucci had a ton of material lying around when he went away, most of it relatively close in character to what he was doing on 2013's uneven State Vs. Radric Davis II project, and none of it reflecting his mental state behind bars.

Drake Says He's Working On A New Mixtape
Drake has kicked off his Summer Sixteen tour, and on top of delivering a stacked setlist of hits, he's made sure to throw some surprises into his performance.
