And we quote:
"Eskeerdo (born Alexander Izquierdo) is a multi-platinum songwriter known for his 'Xplicit' content and versatility. Born and raised in the city of Hialeah, FL he found inspiration in South Florida’s culture and his family’s artistic abilities at an early age. It was Eskeerdo’s older cousin Mario who helped him realize he wanted to pursue music at the age of 10. Mario was a local producer at the time and would play Eskeerdo beats so he could practice rapping. As a teenager the youngest of 3, Eskeerdo watched his older brother battle drug addiction and his parents’ marriage crumble. Eskeerdo dropped out of school at 15 years old and began working two jobs to give a helping hand to his mother. At the time, Eskeerdo had a complicated relationship with his father, so his friends became a big part of his life. He grew up seeing most of them go in and out of jail. Although at times it was hard for him to stay out of trouble himself, his friends always believed in his talent and hoped he could one day provide a better life for them all. In 2008, Eskeerdo Joined The Monsters & The Strangrez to create a powerhouse songwriting and production team. In 2009, Eskeerdo received his first placement for his contribution to a song titled 'Diddy Bop' for music-mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Since then, Eskeerdo is most known for his work with today’s chart topping artists some of which include: Rihanna, Flo Rida, Big Sean, Meek Mill, John Legend, Selena Gomez, T.I., and Trina. While working with rapper Big Sean on his Detroit mixtape, he developed a close working relationship with Grammy award-winning producer Dion ‘No I.D.’ Wilson. With strong affiliation, Eskeerdo continues to be one of No I.D.’s go-to writers. In 2012 Eskeerdo collaborated with some of hip-hop’s biggest names to co-write 'Clique' which was featured on GOOD Music’s album Cruel Summer. The same year he co-wrote 'No Love Allowed,' featured on Rihanna’s album Unapologetic. Eskeerdo is now ready to step out from behind the scenes and release his own music. The nine song self titled EP, transparently discusses Eskeerdos introduction to the music industry, his pitfalls, triumphs, and relentless pursuit of happiness. With tracks produced by Grammy award-winning Music Producers Infamous (Lil Wayne/Jay-Z) and Boi 1da (Drake/Eminem) Eskeerdo has created his own musical canvas in a world where 'ALL YOU RAPPERS ALL SOUND THE SAME'. Combining his life experiences, with the tools he's developed writing for some of todays biggest artists, Eskeerdo and his unique style of sometimes-comical but always on-point lyrics are a clear indicator that there is hope for the future of music."
