Let's Get this money!" he tweeted at YG, sending his prayers by way of emoji.

Top 10 Amber Rose Name-Drops
By now, you all don't need an introduction to Amber Rose. Like it or not, she's a big deal in hip-hop. Behind The Beat: Ducko Mcfli
A year ago, Ducko Mcfli had never gotten his name on a beat with an artist outside of Nashville. He and longtime production partner SykSense had been putting in work for years, even catching the eye of Boi-1da, who signed the pair to a short-term production deal a few years ago. Finally, last March, they sent him one that stuck. He passed it along to his right-hand man, aka the biggest rapper in the world, and next thing you know, Syk and Ducko saw their names next to Drake's "Draft Day."

In 2014, the Canadian government awarded Drake's OVO Fest $300,000, but, this year, it looks like funding for the Toronto festival will have to come out of OVO's pockets. Celebrate Ontario, the organization that awards grants to events like OVO Fest, just released its schedule of events, and the finances allocated to each, and Drake's two-day concert in downtown Toronto wasn't included on the list.

Following news that YG's 2014 project (which topped our own Hottest Albums list) would not be nominated for any Grammys, a group of supporters (including quite a few children) took to the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles to protest the decision, before apparently being kicked out of the building.

Hottest Albums Of 2014
In terms of sales, hip hop albums did not do very well this year. As of press time, J. Cole is the only rapper with a gold album this year, and he just sneaked into the fourth quarter with a surprise release. Most of this boils down to a simple lack of "event" albums. Most of the biggest hip hop artists dropped last year (Drake, Kanye West, Eminem, Jay Z, etc.), and thus created something of a drought in terms of high profile releases.
