Kim Kardashian is moving on from her previous marriage with a new relationship, although that doesn't mean she cut off Kanye West for good. After all, they are still coparents who love their children deeply, and they are clearly very proud of their daughter North West.
She recently performed alongside her father at Ye's Portugal concert last night (Friday, August 7). It looked like a great show overall, and North performed her track "H0w Sh0uld ! f33l" along with the VULTURES cut "TALKING."
Her mother was watching her perform with glee and pride... Although it wasn't at the Estádio do Algarve. As caught by Bars on Instagram, Kim took to her IG Story last night to share a screenshot of her watching North's performance via a video call. "always watching my Northie girl!!" she captioned one of her posts.
Seeing this support is very heartening for fans, even if it's completely unsurprising given fame and family values. What makes it even more heartening is how both parents are putting aside their previous conflicts to support their children, whether they are with one or the other.
How Old Is North West?
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian welcomed North as their first child on June 15, 2013, and the 13 years since have been wonderful for them as parents. Before they called it quits on their marriage, they welcomed their son Saint in 2015, their daughter Chicago in 2018, and their son Psalm in 2019.
Sadly, North West won't perform live solo anytime soon, as she had to cancel her tour with Molly Santana. Hopefully they are able to reschedule this for the future, or prepare a new run of concerts so North can flex her muscles a bit outside of Ye's orbit.
Beyond this, though, Kim and Kanye haven't really engaged with each other all that much in recent months, at least in the public eye. There are still some comments here and there, but nothing indicating a more amicable dynamic.
Regardless, despite some bumps in the road in previous years, they try not to let their children get caught in the crossfire. Even at her ex's shows, Kim couldn't be prouder of her daughter.
