Nigel Sylvester’s video game-inspired Air Jordan 6 “Paperboy” now has a date, and it brings blue and white to the retro.

Nigel Sylvester’s Air Jordan 6 now has a release date. The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 6 “Paperboy” is set to release on June 12th, 2027 for $230.

The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 6 “Paperboy” first surfaced in July. Then, it was listed for Summer 2027.

The pair is inspired by Paperboy, a classic video game about a kid delivering newspapers by bike. It is a perfect fit for a BMX rider like Nigel.

Overall, the design is simple and fresh. Blue covers the upper, with white, wolf grey, and black details around the shoe.

A translucent outsole is there and a mini Swoosh is on the side. Nigel’s “Bike Air” heel branding will also return, but that detail is not confirmed. The style code is IZ9536-400. Pairs are expected through SNKRS, select Jordan Brand retailers, and neighborhood accounts.

This will be his first Air Jordan 6, and it joins the model’s 35th anniversary celebration. It follows his Air Jordan 1 Low OG and his “Brick” Air Jordan 4 releases. Jordan Brand has not confirmed the date, and no official images have surfaced yet.

Nigel is Jordan Brand’s first BMX athlete, and his storytelling is a big reason for his success.

His past releases include the Air Jordan 1 Low OG and two Air Jordan 4 pairs, “Brick by Brick” and “Brick After Brick.”

Instead of a personal motto, it pulls from retro gaming. That is a fun twist, and it should help the shoe stand out.

The Air Jordan 6 is also having a strong year. The “White Infrared” arrives on November 7th, and Nigel’s second pair, the “Grey Fog,” is planned for Fall 2027.

Nigel has also been busy outside of shoes. He recently teamed up with Avirex on a jacket with a poem that tells his Brick story.

Overall, Nigel keeps raising the bar for Jordan Brand collabs. Further, the “Paperboy” could be a summer favorite in 2027.
