21 Savage has had a breezy 2026 after dropping his WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STREETS? album at the tail end of last year. Musically speaking, he's had a few big collabs with his Her Loss partner Drake and his romantic partner Latto, but not too much else beyond that. However, this weekend, 21 got the timeline buzzing not due to new material, but because of a cryptic message he posted to his Instagram Story.
"I know some grown men that sit around and whine like entitled b***hes," he wrote. "I always been a go getter never felt like nobody owed me nothing. And My heart got a on and off switch [knife emoji]." There's no further context to the post, and nothing else on social media that gives any inkling as to what this could be about.
Still, fans who saw No Jumper's coverage of the post on IG had plenty of possible theories. Some of them just agree with Savage or called him out for being born in the U.K., which is irrelevant to the other theories they espoused.
Some folks felt like he may be talking about Young Thug, whereas one commenter brought up Ralo's name without context. We doubt the Atlanta artist will clarify any of this, but folks still want to dig in.
21 Savage & Lil Durk
If folks entertain the Thugger theory, then this might refer to Young Thug recently claiming credit for the not guilty verdict of Lil Durk in his murder-for-hire trial. Many folks criticized Thug for the comments, and the expressions timed right around 21's post. But given their collaborative history, it seems unlikely that this is a shot.
Elsewhere, 21 Savage celebrated Lil Durk's verdict on Instagram just hours before this IG Story post. He uploaded a picture of the two and joined many other MCs expressing joy over the jury's decision.
In fact, 21 Savage reportedly assisted with Lil Durk's legal bills amid this process. It's a celebratory moment for this wide circle of collaborators, which makes a shot at any one of them (including Thug) seem unlikely. Maybe it's just a random message only meant for whoever might've annoyed him behind closed doors.
