Druski is known to cause a stir with his skits and sketches, and his recent spoof of CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) and football players is no different. In fact, it even got a shocking response from former NFL player Antonio Brown, who recently spoke on We Outside by Sidetalk via TikTok about the sketch.
A street interviewer asked AB if he thought the new skit was about him. While Antonio Brown hasn't been officially diagnosed with CTE, some fans point to his erratic behavior after a 2016 impact as a possible effect.
"I don't know. Could've been," he responded. "And it's Coulda Been Records. Yeah, I'ma f**k Druski in his a**. Yo, Druski, I'ma f**k you in the a**. Like, not directly and s**t, but, like, yeah, we gon' violate you, bro."
The interviewer then asked what AB would do if he saw the comedian and content creator "right here, right now." "We gon' run up on him and give him a wedgie. For all my CTE brothers," he responded. "Yeah, yeah, we gon' give him a wedgie. We gon' get his drawls to his ears."
Brown then named himself as part of a "CTE gang," as the interviewer put it. He said others are also in it, but didn't want to mention other names.
Antonio Brown Blasts Druski
Elsewhere, Antonio Brown's jabs at other celebrities are pretty common. He recently went at fellow football player Stefon Diggs for his back tattoo, even launching a homophobic slur at him. AB often makes headlines for his antics and comments, but this particular grievance with the CTE skit, albeit possibly in jest, has fans wondering if there's something deeper. Again, that's purely speculative.
Meanwhile, Druski's media popularity has gone beyond skits, as he recently hosted the BET Awards. There were some controversies here and divisive takes on his performance, but it's at least nice to see more established media outlets tap in with the biggest creators of today.
We'll see if the comedian responds to AB anytime soon, whether with a joke or a jab. In the meantime, Brown will continue to poke fun at controversy around him.
