Kid Cudi Denounces Homophobes, Shows Support For LGBT Community On Twitter
Like many others, Kid Cudi shared a few words about the mass shooting in Orlando over the weekend. While many celebrities chose to simply send "thoughts and prayers" to those affected, Cudi made sure to speak to the LGBT community. "I wish there was more I could do than tweet, build awareness and donate money. Thats not enough. Not for me," he wrote, before intructing any of his homophobic followers to unfollow him immediately. "IF YOU ARE AN INSECURE HOMOPHOBE AND HAVE A ISSUE WITH GAYS AND EQUALITY, UNFOLLOW ME NOW. THANK YOU," he said.
Kid Cudi To Play Ari Gold’s Assistant In “Entourage” Movie
2014 is already looking like a huge year for Kid Cudi.
Top Tracks: June 27 - July 3
As opposed to a winter and spring that found a lot of repeat appearances in our Top Tracks list, summer's been more of a free-for-all, with quick week-to-week turnover as everyone seeks to land a summer anthem. Sure enough, we've only got two returning tracks from last week's list, and following another big recent trend in this feature, both involve Drake. Drizzy's got fingerprints on three of these ten tracks, as does Future, a sure sign that the What A Time To Be Alive team are still comfortably the hottest in the game.
Kid Cudi Took A Bunch Of His Fans To See "Star Wars"
If you're a Star Wars fan, there's a good chance you've already seen the new The Force Awakes. Perhaps you've even turned down a couple of invitations to see the movie from lesser nerds since. With that being said, Cudi gave fans an offer they couldn't refuse last night, announcing that he'd fill a movie theatre with fans to watch the movie. Naturally, this was his third time seeing it. Putting up all the info on Twitter, Cudder easily packed the venue, and inspired much Instagram flexing from the lucky fans who got in.

140 Bars Or Less: Tweets Of The Week (January 16)
Nothing too new is going on in the game this past week. In other words, hip-hop is just going right now. And that's not bad: Vince Staples is alive and still hating on Chris Paul, Jay Z still knows how to tweet, Meek Mill is still free and he's #woke. Common and John Legend won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song ("Glory" from Selma), but other than that, things have been a 40 degree day. The tweets are still fire though.
#TBT: Mixtape Kid Cudi
Kid Cudi has a record coming out tomorrow called Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven, and apparently it's almost completely void of rap music. While we obviously respect Cudi's artistic decision to do whatever the fuck he desires, we like to remember Cudi back in his mixtape prime. He was a brainy oddball, known for taking non-rap sounds and bringing them into the hip hop world. His debut mixtape, 2008's A Kid Named Cudi, was heralded for doing just that.
Kid Cudi Says Beyoncé Gave Him Confidence In Releasing "Satellite Flight"
As soon as Kid Cudi surprise-released his new album Satellite Flight, people started saying he'd "pulled a Beyoncé", something that was also said the Air Yeezys dropped, so it's only a matter of time before Beyoncé just becomes a synonym for "surprise". Whether or not Cudi did take a note from Bey was a valid question however, and it's one he addressed in his recent interview with Complex.
Kid Cudi Teases Pharrell Collaboration, Says Album Coming "Very Soon"

Kid Cudi Shares New "Especial" Tour Dates
Kid Cudi let down his legion of fans when he cancelled his "Especial" tour days before it was set to kick off in December, citing production issues and personal issues. But it looks like he's going on tour -- forreal this time. Cudi posted tour dates on Twitter this afternoon. 11 dates in total, the rescheduled tour kicks off January 31 in Madison, WI and finishing up on February 14 in Charlotte.
#TBT: Kid Cudi "Man On The Moon" Phase
This may make you feel a little old, but Kid Cudi's career-launching mixtape A Kid Named Cudi is about to turn seven years old. While the "Day 'n' Nite" artist has released much music since then, many fans long for the alternative-minded rap the Cleveland kid layed down on his first two albums.
Kid Cudi & Method Man To Appear In CBS Drama "Scorpion"
As a musician, Kid Cudi's been called a lot of things, but "pop genius" might not be one of them. As an actor, that's a different story entirely, as he's just been tapped to appear as a "brilliant musical prodigy" in the CBS show "Scorpion."
Watch Footage From Kanye West's "808s & Heartbreak" Show Night 2
This weekend, Kanye West performed two back to back shows, both live renditions of his 2008 album 808s & Heartbreak. During both nights, 'Ye brought out a few of the album's original collaborators, including Kid Cudi, Mr. Hudson, and Jeezy. There was an elaborate stage curated just for the show, featuring a step pyramid beneath a giant color-changing moon-like ball. There was also a full orchestral string section, an electronic backing band (with Mike Dean on guitar), and a full cast of costumed dancers and performance artists.

Read all of his tweets that pertain to the announcement below. Developing a short film for "Balmain Jeans", a story about a spontaneous electric connection between two strangers. The vibes :)
20 Hip Hop Artists Who Threw Out The Ceremonial First Pitch
The pitcher's mound is a stage, a very different stage from the one rappers and singers are accustomed to standing upon. The ceremonial first pitch is ostensibly a celebration, and throwing the ball 60 feet in a particular direction may not seem like much of a challenge. But much can go wrong. From Kendrick Lamar to Snoop Dogg to MC Hammer to 50 Cent (!), here are 20 hip hop artists who took the mound for the ceremonial first pitch.
Kid Cudi Interviews Pee-wee Herman For Talkhouse Podcast
Rapper, singer, and actor Kid Cudi is a noted film and TV buff, though it's rather surprising too discover he's a devoted fan of Pee-wee Herman, the television, theater, and film character played by Paul Reubens. Herman was immensely popular in the '80s and still retains a widespread following today. For its latest episode, The Talkhouse Film podcast organized a conversation between Reubens and Cudi, which coincides with the recent Netflix premiere of "Pee-wee's Big Holiday," the first Pee-wee Herman film in almost 28 years.
