It will be the latest in Carti's series of new songs dropped on YouTube.

Playboi Carti has been sharing new songs and accompanying music videos on YouTube at an impressive rate in recent weeks. While none of it has made its way to streaming platforms in any official capacity yet, fans are hoping it's the dawn of a new era for the rapper. Carti has been teasing new music for years now dating all the way back to his last album Whole Lotta Red. That project dropped on Christmas Day 2020 and Carti had been largely silent in the years since up until last month.

Now he's once again teasing towards even more new music. In a new teaser Carti and friends are hanging out listening to Biggie's "Who Shot Ya," and in the process reveal the name of the rapper's next song. The track is called "BABY BOI" and while nothing else is known about it beyond that, fans are still hyped. The song will be Carti's second new single of 2024 in just a few weeks. It follows "BACKR00MS" with Travis Scott. That song has already been a big hit with fans and even got a shoutout from Ice Spice. Check out the newest tease of forthcoming music from Carti below.

Playboi Carti Announces Yet Another New Song

Earlier this week, fans were talking about Playboi Carti for an entirely different reason than his new string of songs. That's because video of the rapper being arrested in 2022 emerged online. He was pulled over by police after reportedly driving more than 130mph down a stretch of road with a 55mph speed limit.

Playboi Carti was also supposed to go on tour with his entire Opium label later this year. Alongside him, Destroy Lonely, Ken Carson, and Homixide Gang were expected to come along. But the tour was once again delayed and fans online think it has something to do with an outstanding lawsuit between HG and Live Nation that would make touring difficult.
