The rapper shared his thoughts on the prosecution in the ongoing trial.

JID has had a busy day on Twitter so far. He started the day discussing his newest freestyle with fans. He dropped the "30" freestyle on YouTube yesterday and his performance was immediately met with rave reviews. The rapper explained the process he went through of writing and recording dozens of freestyle for practice. Eventually he had to circle back around and confirm that most of them aren't likely to ever see the light of day as they were just for his own benefit.

He also made an even more substantial revelation to fans. He once again promised that a collaborative album between himself and Metro Boomin was on the way. JID claims that he's working on the project "everyday" which is sure to get fans hyped. Unfortunately, he isn't ready to give an update on when the album might actually be released. It's been nearly a year since the pair originally announced they has a joint effort in mind. Check out his newest thoughts posted to Twitter below.

JID Talks YSL RICO Trial

"The prosecution for this thug case is sloppy and ill-prepared. lol," JID say in a recent tweet. Like many fans he's been paying attention to one of the biggest trials in all of rap music since it got started again earlier this week. The lack of preparedness from lawyers on both sides has been an issue dating back to pre-trial proceedings. Opening statements were delayed after it was revealed that the prosecution failed to share all of their material with the defense ahead of the start date.

Many have gone online to share their predictions for how the case will ultimately end up. Momentum has swung back and forth in terms of public perception multiple times during the trial so far. Earlier today one of the co-founders of YSL took to the stand after cutting a plea deal to avoid the trial more than a year ago. What do you think of JID's newest take on the YSL RICO trial? Do you think the prosecution will be able to pin any charges on Young Thug? Let us know in the comment section below.
