Murda Beatz is sitting on an album full of bangers.

Canada's production roster has been enjoying the addition of new first round draft pick Murda Beatz. The young talent has already blossomed into a formidable force behind the boards, earning himself the respect of some of the game's most respected. Hell, Murda already has a Drake number-one to his name, and it stands to reason this is merely the warm-up stage.

Today, Murda hit up the LA Leakers for a brief conversation, in which he opened up about his personal history and creative process. Upon being asked about "Nice For What," Murda admits to making it in a mere one-and-a-half hours. "He wanted to sample a female's voice," says Murda. After looking to his OGs, he decided that Lauryn Hill was the winner. Still despite the rising status, he still remembers laying down street shit for the Migos, recognizing it as a turning point in his career.

"Tour next week with G-Eazy, Ty Dolla $ign, and Lil Uzi," teases Murda, who is holding it down behind the boards. "I'm going to drop my album soon. I'm going to start dropping records in the next couple weeks. I don't really leak no more. I was the Canadian leaker." Sadly, he remained tight lipped about the project's contributors, but given his track record of late, it wouldn't be surprising to see some of the game's biggest A-listers come through. After all, he's already layed down beats for Drake, Migos, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Smokepurpp, and more.
