The many headlines around Offset's gambling and casino presence seem to have caught up with him, but not enough to fully dissuade him.

Offset is gearing up to drop his new album GMFU soon, with the Don Toliver-assisted "Every Night" serving as the lead-up to the release. Its music video takes place inside a casino, which evokes many gambling-adjacent headlines around the former Migo's name. Earlier this year, he was shot outside a casino in Florida and faces a lawsuit from a Detroit casino connected to alleged debt. But in a recent conversation with TMZ, it seems like this has made the rapper wary of revisiting casinos, even if he won't stop gambling.

A reporter for the publication ran into him at the LAX airport yesterday (Thursday, November 5), and asked about GMFU, the "Every Night" video, and all these casino headlines. 'Set said his life is like a movie, so he wanted to reflect that in the visuals and lean into the conversations around him, giving them a musical equivalent.

He also said these situations have slightly deterred him from gambling and going to casinos. However, the Georgia MC said he'll still play and take his chances here and there, so it isn't a complete deterrence.

The interviewer went on to ask about gambling skills and new music from him and the Migos. We'll see if those future musical projects contain any more reflections about this narrative.

Offset's Casino Lawsuit

For those unaware, Offset is facing a lawsuit from a Detroit casino for allegedly owing them $100K. While MotorCity Casino Hotel is seeking a default judgement due to a reported lack of response, the case remains open at press time.

Elsewhere, 'Set suffered a shooting at a Florida casino earlier this year, which many folks connected to an alleged fight with Lil Tjay. That investigation remains ongoing, and authorities let Tjay go after a brief arrest that didn't manifest into any charges.

Meanwhile, Offset also pokes fun at the gambling narratives, as he revealed a recent shouting match at a casino was actually just a skit. So he knows how to lean into the gossip around him to drive more people to his next moves. We'll see if this leads to a solid project in GMFU.
