Is he dissing JAŸ-Z? DJ Khaled? A$AP Rocky? Drake takes a few subliminal shots on his new verse.

The Boy is back with another verse, and he’s apparently coming for blood. Drake appeared alongside Loe Shimmy, Future, and Travis Scott on the single “Ya Hit,” which is apparently the lead single from Future’s next album.

One line in particular from Drake’s verse has caught fans’ attention. “Your album ain't gettin' no better, it's done, so submit it,” he raps. It’s a bit too broad to know exactly who it’s about, but we could imagine that this bar can apply to a few intended targets. A$AP Rocky, for instance, is currently revving up for the release of Don’t Be Dumb (Disc 2). However, there’s also 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show headliner JAŸ-Z, who has been rumored to be preparing for the release of a new album.

And then, of course, some might think it’s Kendrick Lamar, given their history. One fan even suggested that it could be DJ Khaled since his album Aalam of God didn’t drop on its expected release date in July and now has no release date in sight for whatever reason. Whoever it might be, Drake is clearly preparing himself for the smoke in one way or another.

Drake Takes Shots On "Ya Hit"

“Ya Hit” was initially previewed at Drake’s 40th birthday party last month but only as a collaboration between Future, Travis Scott, and Loe Shimmy. In fact, most people assumed that this was Loe Shimmy’s song in the first place. Akademiks revealed that Drizzy was such a fan of the record that he ended up jumping on it within the last few weeks.

The Drake and Future collaborative streak continues after the two line up on ICEMAN single “Run To Atlanta” alongside Molly Santana, marking their first collaboration since the epic rap feud of 2024. Check out the song above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments below.
