Offset has been teasing his new album, GMFU, for a while. In fact, the album was supposed to come out on October 23. However, midnight came and went without an album. Fans were curious about what happened, and why the rapper had been staying silent on the matter.
But on that same Friday, Offset finally came through with an update. He revealed that GMFU would be dropping on November 13. For those paying attention to the calendar, that is in 10 days from now.
The project is going to feature the song "Every Night" with Don Toliver, which dropped last month. As for the rest of the project, the tracklist and the features are still mostly unknown. The mystery is certainly enticing.
That said, on Monday evening, Offset took to social media, where he confirmed that his album is, indeed, coming out on November 13. Furthermore, he delivered what appears to be the cover art for the album. It features him with an American flag over his head and some camo pants, all while sitting on a stoop.
Offset Is Finally Dropping
For Offset, this is going to be a big project. Ultimately, he remains one of the biggest artists in mainstream rap right now. If he can deliver another album full of bangers, then perhaps mainstream hip-hop isn't in such a bad place, after all.
Next year, Offset is reportedly teaming up with Quavo for a new Migos album. This is also an exciting prospect, and just goes to show that the Atlanta MC is in high demand.
Hopefully, we get a new single between now and next Friday. Just a little something to tide the fans over.
