Former Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms is going up against Rick Jackson for the governor of Georgia, and Offset is placing his wager.

Offset's alleged gambling issues have been talked about at length over the past few months. It all started with an alleged incident involving Lil Tjay and his crew. The rapper was shot during the exchange, and later, it was revealed that gambling was at the center of all of it.

With the midterm elections going down today, the rapper isn't doing anything to quell people's fears about his alleged problem. We say this because he recently took to social media with a message about former Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. She is running for governor of Georgia against billionaire Rick Jackson. The polls have them in a tie, although with Republican support waning in light of Donald Trump's polarizing presidency, Lance Bottoms has a real shot.

Offset appears to agree with this as he put $5000 on Lance Bottoms to win. He accompanied this with a message, saying, "I like my odds on Keisha." Offset is not the first rapper to bet on the elections. We have seen similar behavior from 42 Dugg and Maxo Kream. One has to wonder if this is some sort of coordinated ad campaign for Kalshi.

Offset Is Confident In Keisha Lance Bottoms

In the comments section of The Jasmine Brand, fans were showcasing their concern for Offset. Some feel as though his betting on politics is proof that he still has issues with gambling.

"He needs to seek counseling for this addiction," one person wrote. "Damn he got a serious problem. He bet on any damn thing," said another.

Having said all that, if you are eligible to vote, go out and do so.
