After joking about becoming a father again at 58, Jamie Foxx has welcomed a baby with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp.

The school drop-off line is calling Jamie Foxx's name again. At 58, the Oscar-winning entertainer has welcomed his third child, this time with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp. He's joked about becoming a father at an age when many people are preparing for grandchildren, but now that their baby has arrived, those late-night feedings are officially back on the agenda.

Sources confirmed the birth to People on Wednesday (Nov. 4). The newborn is the couple's first child together and Huckstepp's first. Neither the baby's sex nor name has been revealed, and Foxx's representatives haven't publicly commented on the arrival. He already has two daughters from previous relationships, Corinne, 32, with Connie Kline, and Anelise, 18, with Kristin Grannis.

The couple announced the pregnancy in May, although Foxx initially had reservations about becoming a father again. "Being my age, I was a little on the fence," he admitted to E! News in August. His concerns apparently eased after running into Al Pacino, who welcomed another child at 83.

The comedian also had plenty to say about his expanding family during a September appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "I got a baby on the way ... still got it!" he joked. Foxx acknowledged that raising another child would be a different experience this time around, especially with his eldest daughter already in her thirties. He even teased Huckstepp about their future, imagining himself at 70 when their child turns 12.

Foxx and Huckstepp have maintained a relatively private relationship since they were first romantically linked in 2023. They reportedly separated in January 2025 before reconnecting a few months later. News of their pregnancy emerged this spring, and the couple was subsequently photographed together during several outings.

The arrival also comes three years after Foxx suffered a serious medical emergency involving a brain bleed and stroke. He has repeatedly credited his daughters with helping him through his recovery, particularly Corinne, who stepped in to support him while he was hospitalized. She was beside him again when he discussed the pregnancy in August, expressing excitement about welcoming another member of their family.
