Following the release of his polarizing album, QRÖMELIFE, there have been questions about what Quavo would do next. It didn't take long for the artist to answer those questions. He immediately took to social media and promised the album most fans had been anticipating, Satchamo.
Now, it appears as though Quavo is kicking off his rollout for the project into full gear. We say this because earlier today, the artist came through with a trailer for the album. In the trailer, we get some vocals from Takeoff, as well as footage of a rocket ship taking off. Imagery that has always been associated with the late Migos MC.
From there, we get a snippet of a new song. It is a melodramatic track that contains some autotuned vocals from Quavo. The aesthetic differences between this and QRÖMELIFE are stark.
Quavo Teases Satchamo
At this time, a release date for this new Quavo album is unknown. The trailer comes less than 24 hours after Offset revealed that his album GMFU will, indeed, be coming out on November 13.
Speaking of Offset, he and Quavo are supposed to link back up next year on a new Migos project. This is a project that will feature vocals from the late Takeoff. It is an album that is a long time coming, and there is no denying that it could bring about some nostalgia.
Whether or not this is going to be called Culture 4 is something that very much remains to be seen. Whatever the case may be, it is a reunion that some never expected. We're just happy that Offset and Quavo are back to being on good terms again.
