Quavo had teased "SATCHAMO" at least by 2025, and the release of his "QRÖMELIFE" album had put its status in question.

Quavo has a lot on his plate right now. There's a new Migos album on the way reuniting with Offset, a posthumous Takeoff album, and Huncho just released his QRÖMELIFE album with Pharrell that was divisive to say the least. He recently revealed he has another solo album coming soon, and fans now know it's officially what they've been getting teased about for years: SATCHAMO.

The Georgia rapper took to his social media pages recently, including Twitter, to show a whiteboard for the album's tracklist. However, track titles and any potential features were crossed out, which has led to some theories online about who, if anyone, will make the cut alongside him. There are 13 tracks on the list per the image, and fans wonder if this will also be a collaboration with the former Neptunes producer or another vision entirely.

Quavo himself chimed in on social media such as Twitter, using trumpet references and hinting that the album will still "count" with the hashtag "#FREESATCHAMO." It's unclear if this refers to any label trouble or something similar, but the album is coming regardless.

He had initially teased this album back in 2025 with the "SATCHAMO Freestyle," indicating a tribute to Louis Armstrong's "Satchamo" nickname. Also, the MC said QRÖMELIFE was the first chapter in the "Book of Qröme," with SATCHAMO seemingly being the second.

Quavo's New Album

Given how fans largely didn't like Pharrell's QRÖMELIFE production, many expressed hopes for SATCHAMO to follow another sonic direction. If it will really be jazzier and more trumpet-influenced, maybe we're in for a quick bounce-back. However, with more Migos and Takeoff-related projects on the way, another misstep won't completely take the wind out Quavo's sails.

In any case, SATCHAMO is the Quavo album fans were hoping for instead of QRÖMELIFE, but they still need to actually hear it to confirm this. Over a year after its first initial tease and years after lots of speculation, his world could become even larger in 2026 and 2027.

While we don't have a release date yet, it seems like it's almost ready to come out. We'll see how the rest of this new era goes.
