Nicki Minaj made an appearance outside of a polling station in New Hampshire on the day of the midterm elections.

Well, it looks like Nicki Minaj’s influence didn’t quite yield the result that Republicans hoped for. Over the past year and some change, Nicki has aligned herself with the right, cozied up to Donald Trump, and become besties with Erika Kirk. After joining Trump on the campaign trail these past few weeks, she reportedly made an appearance outside of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, a polling station in New Hampshire, per NBC 10.

Apparently, she wasn’t the only celeb to bring star power to swing states. Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola, Mike Tyson, and Floyd Mayweather were also spotted in New Hampshire during the midterm elections.

One might be able to argue that it had a reverse effect on the intended outcome for the Republicans. The Democratic nominees in New Hampshire swept both House and Senate seats.

Jasmine Crockett On Nicki Minaj

Jasmine Crockett recently chimed in on Nicki Minaj’s recent foray into politics with TMZ. And while she didn’t necessarily tear into the “Super Bass” rapper, she did make a broader point about the importance of wielding influence for the right reasons.

“We should all be using our voices to make an influence on what’s taking place in this country,” she said, noting that the reporter mentioned Nicki’s citizenship status. “You talk about her not being a citizen. There are a lot of non-citizens right now that are being rounded up by ICE. We have a record number of deaths in ICE custody. We know that ICE has been… terrorizing our communities. So while I don’t appreciate what Nicki is up to, I do want other people to say, ‘You know what, I should be using my voice,’ because what is taking place is impacting all of us.”

She added, “I don’t appreciate Nicki because I feel like everything that she’s doing is about herself. And it has nothing to do with us collectively but anybody that is looking out for someone more than just their personal interest, then I absolutely want them to use their voices.” Check the clip out above.
