Nicki Minaj and President Donald Trump have been spending a ton of time with one another, and they don't appear to be stopping that trend anytime soon. This past weekend, Nicki was on Air Force One, campaigning with Trump ahead of the mid-term elections. She also found herself getting complimented in the creepiest way possible.
That said, there are many within the Trump administration who seem to believe that Nicki deserves some sort of role. After the dismissal of Katie Zacharia, there have even been suggestions that she could be the White House Press Secretary.
White House Communications Director Steve Cheung even floated the idea on X.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I think we may have found the new White House Press Secretary!" Cheung wrote.

Subsequently, Trump advisor Alex Bruesewitz asked Nicki's fans if they are on board with the notion. "Hey Barbz, what do we think about this idea??" Bruesewitz remarked.
Stranger things have happened, and the way things are going, we would not be surprised if Nicki Minaj took this kind of role. Although it would mean that her rap career would be on pause for the time being, which is not something folks would have expected.
Over the coming weeks, it is going to be fascinating to see if this relationship stays afloat. Moreover, with the Republicans facing unfavorable polls going into the midterms, there is no doubt that Nicki is being used by the administration to get the vote out. It's a cynical ploy, and one that Minaj is playing into.
That said, Nicki has always marched to the beat of her own drum, and we don't see that stopping, anytime soon.
