Nicki Minaj is riding for Trump.

Nicki Minaj is riding hard for Donald Trump these days. Their relationship has taken a full 180 since she previously denounced him during his first term. Now, she’s all aboard the Trump wagon to the point where she’s getting interviewed on Air Force One. She might even be the first rapper to do so (Sorry, Soulja Boy).

As the midterms arrive, she’s really hoping that the anticipated blue wave doesn’t actually crash into Congress and the Senate. She’s mentioned as much on her social media and during a recent interview, where she shared her admiration for Trump’s leadership.

“He’s naturally a businessman. He’s worked his way out of not having a dollar left in the bank,” she said, “so if he could do that with himself and his own finances, surely he knows what to do with the country. He’s very tough; he’s tough internationally.”

She added, “he tells them what we need, not what they need. We’re not going to be paying to kiss their ass. They are going to pay us to be affiliated with the United States of America.”

Nicki Minaj Praises Donald Trump

Nicki went on to praise Trump’s work ethic, from the numerous rallies he does daily and winning two elections, while attacking “legacy media,” which she believes is “attacking him left and right.” “What does he do? He gets up every morning and outworks people who are half his age,” she continued.

Between Trump complimenting her booty and Steven Chung, White House Communications Director, who conducted the interview, joking that she could be the next White House Press Secretary, Nicki is really at the forefront of the Republican Party these days. Whether her influence can actually swing votes has yet to be seen.
