Nicki Minaj's decision to go full MAGA remains a sore spot for her fanbase. Since Donald Trump was re-elected back in 2024, Nicki has been going hard for the Republicans. She has done interviews with Erika Kirk and has even attended a plethora of White House events.
Trump and the Republican base love to feel as though they are the cultural zeitgeist. Having Minaj on their side certainly makes them feel like they are part of the "in" group. Regardless of the optics, Minaj has no issue showcasing just how much she loves the President.
That was on full display yesterday from inside the Oval Office. Nicki Minaj was at the White House as Trump spoke to the media. As soon as she walked into the room, Trump pointed her out and revealed his admiration for her. He said she was his "favorite" and that the two have stood by one another for a long time.
Nicki Minaj Continues To Dive Into Politics
Nicki Minaj then took to X where she offered up a response to the video that is now making the rounds all over social media. "Not going anywhere. Right where I need to be."
Clearly, Minaj feels as though this foray into politics is her calling. She has even been attempting to campaign for Republicans as the mid-term elections are set to take place on November 3, which is in two weeks from now.
She is urging her fans to continue voting red. Whether or not this stops a blue wave from taking place, remains to be seen.
