Ye and Kim Kardashian finalized their divorce in 2022, and share four children from their decade-long relationship.

Kanye West is infamous for burning a lot of bridges over the years. Arguably the most important one was that with the mother of his four children, which was no more by 2022's end. Ye and Kim Kardashian have spoken often in the past about their decade-long relationship and subsequent divorce. But questions continue to swirl around their dynamics. As it turns out, Kim herself has something to say about it.

As reported by The Jasmine Brand on Instagram, excerpts from the new book Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created The Future raised questions online. It's a biography of the reality TV star and business mogul by Jonathan Van Meter. In the book, there are revelations from Kim about how she coparents with the Chicago rapper despite not talking to each other pretty much at all these days.

"It’s been pretty smooth for a while," she reportedly expressed regarding their coparenting dynamic. "I guess because we don’t talk that much. But when we see each other, we give each other a hug."

It seems like this distance helps them stay cordial despite Kanye West's past controversies regarding commentary on Kim Kardashian and the SKIMS cofounder's insights into their bond, which have also caused a stir from time to time.

When Did Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Break Up?

She reportedly schedules logistics, visits, and other encounters with her ex-husband via Ye's wife Bianca Censori or his management team. Also, Kim reportedly has an "open-door policy" through which she invites him for family dinners or offers to leave her house temporarily so Kanye can spend time with their kids.

Per The Jasmine Brand, she also admitted to worrying about her former partner "all day, all the time," even with tensions between them in the background. Kim reportedly tells her kids their father is "traveling" sometimes when they ask where he's at, limiting their knowledge of what may be going on in their personal relationship.

"I do everything in my power to forget about all the negative things that happened…" she reportedly expressed. "I want them to think their dad is the greatest."

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's divorce finalized in 2022, and it followed a very turbulent time for the couple. Since then, they have moved onto other romantic partners and often meet to celebrate their children's achievements and support them despite their breakup.
