Teyana Taylor is reportedly teaming up with Jordan Brand again. A Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 16 is expected to release in Summer 2027.
The news comes from KicksFinder, and Jordan Brand hasn't confirmed anything yet. Reports call it an Air Jordan 16 SP, but no images, style code, or price have surfaced.
It would be her third Jordan collab. Her last pair was the "Concrete Rose" Air Jordan 3, a green and red pair with a cement grey midsole. It didn't stick around long on SNKRS.
Fans can expect a strong concept. Her past releases have all had a story behind them, with roses and her Harlem roots at the center. Anyone hoping for a basic colorway is probably in for a surprise.
Nike and select Jordan retailers are expected to carry the pair, both in stores and online. That's the standard route for a Jordan collab, and Teyana's pairs have always drawn big crowds.
The timing is great also. Her career is on a hot streak, with a Golden Globe win and an Oscar nomination for One Battle After Another. A Jordan collab feels like the perfect victory lap. It's early, but this one is already on the radar.
Teyana Taylor x Air Jordan 16
The Air Jordan 16 is an interesting choice. It's usually an overlooked sneaker, especially because it's not really tied to any iconic moments. It was around for Michael Jordan's return with the Wizards, but never really caught fire.
That being said, it has been picking up recently. The recent Air Jordan 16 "Free the Youth" and "Black Pack" releases sold out almost immediately. That shows fans are ready for more.
Teyana's design style fits the shoe well. She tends to layer details and tell a full story through a sneaker. The gaiter gives her extra room to play.
Her first Jordan collab, "A Rose From Harlem," introduced her rose theme. "Concrete Rose" took it further with vines and thorns. Another evolution would make sense. It's still early, so of course lots can change.
