Future was spotted in New York wearing a metallic Air Jordan 14 Mule, and it's one of the most unusual Jordans of the year.

Future was spotted in New York this week wearing the Mowalola x Air Jordan 14 Mule. The metallic silver pair stood out against a dark, all-grey fit.

He went with a washed grey hoodie and matching sweats. A huge black leather bag and dark sunglasses finished the look. The shoes were the focal point of the outfit.

The Mule style turns the Air Jordan 14 silhouette into a backless slip-on. The upper looks like it was cast in metal, with Mowalola's name in raised script on the side.

Underneath, the sole stays mostly the same. The Air Jordan 14's front fangs are still there, in silver and black. That mix of a classic basketball shape and an experimental top is what makes the pair work.

The Mule retails for $180 and came out in September. It launched on Mowalola's website first, then reached Jordan Brand retailers on September 26th. Future has worn luxury pieces with sneakers, so a designer collab like this fits his style. Seeing him in it also gives the shoe some real street credibility. It's a nice reminder that this collab is still turning heads.

Future Wears Air Jordan 14

Mowalola Ogunlesi is a British-Nigerian designer known for bold, boundary-pushing pieces. This is her first project with Jordan Brand but she's also teamed up with Yeezy recently.

She showed the collection at Paris Fashion Week in June. The campaign, called "Something's Off," was shot in an abandoned hotel.

The collection also includes a standard lace-up Air Jordan 14. It comes in rich brown leather with Mowalola script on the side and a faded plaid pattern on the heel. That pair retails for $255.

More Mules are already on the way. Two croc-textured pairs, in dark blue and dark red, are reportedly set for February of 2027 at $180 each.

Celebrity sightings like this one help the collab stay in the conversation. A metallic mule isn't a typical Jordan, so seeing it out in the real world is pretty cool.
