Lil Baby is readying a release date for his upcoming project, marking his first since January 2025's "WHAM."

Lil Baby’s musical outings as of late haven’t been as undeniable as they once were. The release of WHAM in early 2025 practically came and went, and the promises of a follow-up was practically packaged as The Leaks. Meanwhile, WHAM’s companion project, Dominique, hasn’t received much of an update as of late. However, the release of “Dead Fresh,” produced by Pharrell, marked a pretty promising turn after a handful of duds.

It now appears that he’s revving up to release a brand new album in the fourth quarter. Baby reportedly confirmed a November 6th release date for his upcoming project, though there’s no confirmation of a title or a tracklist. Hopefully, we get more information surrounding the effort in the near future.

Lil Baby's New Album

The direction that Lil Baby might head in musically this year isn’t entirely clear. Outside of “Dead Fresh,” Baby hasn’t dropped a whole lot of music as of late. He has been dishing out several features as of late, some a bit more questionable than others. Don Toliver tapped Baby earlier this year for the “Tuition” remix while DJ Khaled tried to kick off the campaign for his next studio album with “One Of Them” alongside Future, which many seemed to have forgotten about. But in the past few months, he linked up with Young Thug for Slime Language 3, and also joined forces with MrBeast for an awkward remix of “Dead Fresh.” Most recently, Lil Baby appeared on Quavo’s new album, QRÖMELIFE, on the song “Ball My Love.”

We will continue to keep an eye out for more updates on Lil Baby’s next musical outings. Hopefully, there’s a single or two we can sink our teeth into in the next few weeks before the album drops. Check his comment out above and let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
