The Game has dissed Rick Ross in the past, so this latest flare-up over "The Documentary III," "Set In Stone," and album sales is no surprise.

The Game and Rick Ross both recently released new albums that did not exactly perform very well commercially, with them selling around 15K units with The Documentary III and around 19K with Set In Stone, respectively. However, Rick Ross' comments on The Game's commercial performance have reignited the previous feud between them, and the Compton MC has now clapped back.

The "Hate It Or Love It" rapper posted an AI-generated image of the Set In Stone cover depicting Ross' face as a fried chicken leg, and shared a video of DMX downplaying Rozay's music and image. "It ain’t one person on this earth listening to this walkin drumsticks album….." he captioned his Instagram post. "but I urge everyone to go give it a spin so you can know exactly what not to do when putting out an album right after dinner. You ain’t no cop J Reed. When yo legs match yo body, let’s rap !!!& If yall don’t want yo favorite rapper eating… all in the video, leaving crumbs all on the song… COME TO DEATHROW !!!! The Documentary 3 out now on all streaming platforms…"

Rick Ross & The Game Beef

This is what the Maybach Music Group mogul had to say about The Documentary III and his own low album sales. "That was a project that was released last week. The Documentary III," he said. "Two Kanye features, Drake... Set In Stone did more numbers than Documentary III with what they called a stimulus package. Listen, keep hustling. That's what it's all about. The Game, as an artist, continue to make music, my n***a. The West Coast needs you... Don't let that s**t dictate how you move, how you create."

Considering The Game's ongoing rap beef Rick Ross, it's kind of odd to hear Ross be empathetic in this situation, albeit back-handedly. But maybe that's the case because he knows they are in similar spots commercially, and that both releases did not reach the heights they may have expected.

But that's only in the commercial conversation, as both artists are very proud of what they did and their fanbase really appreciated them. We'll see if Rozay responds...
