Wack 100's claims follow allegations about Drake allegedly financially backing the investigation into Drakeo The Ruler's murder.

Drake has been at the center of a lot of hip-hop drama stories, but few as bizarre and contentious as this. For those unaware, rumors emerged earlier this summer that he funded the murder investigation of Los Angeles rapper Drakeo The Ruler. It seemed like YG supported these rumors amid his beef with Drizzy and a recent detainment in connection to the investigation, as he's been tied to murder allegations for years. During a call with DJ Akademiks, Wack 100 allegedly denied the claims surrounding the 6ix God and said he himself played more of a direct role.

Apparently, the rumors around The Boy devolved into him providing Drakeo's family with a lawyer, which Wack allegedly denied. "Now, I did speak to Wack," Akademiks claimed during his livestream, as caught by Akademiks TV on Twitter. "[He] confirmed to me, he's like, 'The lawyer that's being used by the family, people thought Drake provided them.' And apparently, Wack 100 is saying, 'No, no, I gave them my lawyer.' So this idea that the family is being paid for by Drake just does not exist and it's not real. It's not actually accurate."

Drakeo The Ruler Investigation

For those unaware, Drakeo The Ruler's brother denied these Drake theories as well, which most consequentially originated from Glasses Malone online. "Everybody is having a strong case of delusion," Ralfy The Plug remarked during a livestream. "I just head a n***a say today that Drake been taking care of the family and s**t. I know these n***as is getting delusional. Bro, this s**t is getting crazy."

Elsewhere, YG has denied the Drakeo The Ruler allegations, and Drake hasn't addressed any of this publicly. We will see if that changes at any point. For now, though, no proof of Drizzy's involvement here has emerged, and authorities still haven't named a suspect in the Drakeo investigation.

So we will have to see if there are any concrete legal updates regarding the case. Otherwise, it will continue to pop up in gossip narratives and speculative takes. It's a very odd situation, but one that will hopefully find justice further down the road.
