Chris Brown's been gearing up to drop his eighth studio album, Heartbreak On A Full Moon. The singer's teased the project since the beginning of this year with loose singles. He said in an interview that he's been working on the project since the release of Royalty in 2015. The project has birthed a number a infectious singles that have kept his fans in anticipation. Today, he dropped off three new singles off of the project including "Tempo."

Snippets of "Tempo" have been surfacing for a few months but never an official version. Other singles that have led the projects roll out have been a bit more upbeat and ranged in sounds. However, "Tempo" shifts into Chris' comfort zone with R&B. He's back to the roots with this single. In an interview he did with Complex, he said "I've done so many records, but all of the records, to me, are personal favorites and I feel like it gets what I want to say across,” he said, “It gives a vibe. You get nostalgia or you get a sense of individuality.”

"Tempo" encompasses that sentiment. It's a mid-tempo R&B joint that has remnants of previous music while still maintaining the mature sound he's developed over the years. It's not as upbeat at the previous singles. However, it indicates the wide range of sounds we'll possibly be receiving on Heartbreak On A Full Moon.

He released two other singles off of the project today, as well. He dropped the Ty Dolla $ign and Verse Simmonds featured, "Only 4 Me." He also dropped off "Confidence." Last week, he unleashed the Young Thug and Future assisted "High End" which was also accompanied with a spooky visual treatment. With less than two weeks until the project's arrival, Chris Breezy is gearing up to release a double-disc packed with fire.
