New photos of the Air Jordan 5 Grape show the classic colorway returning this month, staying true to the original design.

The Air Jordan 5 "Grape" is back with fresh photos, and it’s still one of the cleanest looks in the Jordan lineup. Known for its bold color blocking and smooth leather upper, this colorway remains a fan favorite.

The "Grape" was originally introduced in 1990 and quickly became iconic thanks to its off-court flair. Michael Jordan never actually wore them in a game, but the streets made them a legend.

This new 2025 version sticks close to the original blueprint. The crisp white leather, icy translucent sole, and the signature teal and purple accents stay true to form.

Over the years, the "Grape" 5 has seen a few revamps and alternate takes, but the classic always hits different. Jordan Brand seems to know this, letting the original speak for itself. With these updated on-foot photos, anticipation is only growing.

The official release is scheduled for later this month. If history is any guide, expect these to move fast. Check out the new images above for a closer look at the upcoming drop.

Air Jordan 5 OG "Grape"

The Air Jordan 5 "Grape" features a clean white leather upper paired with translucent mesh panels. Teal and purple dominate the tongue and midsole, creating the signature Grape vibe.

A visible Air unit in the heel and an icy blue outsole complete the look. The lace toggle keeps the retro flair intact, while black accents along the midsole add contrast. The stitched Jumpman logos on the heel and tongue stand out in teal.

Materials look premium, sticking close to the original design that made this colorway a standout. It's a simple yet bold color scheme that's aged perfectly.

Sneaker Bar Detroit reports that the Air Jordan 5 OG “Grape” is going to return on June 21st, 2025. Also, the retail price of the sneakers will be $210 when they drop.
