Soulja Boy's new game is available on PC.

There’s no denying that Soulja Boy innovated the music industry when he first came out, but what’s more impressive is that he’s still trying to explore new territory 20 years later. Most recently, he launched his own multiplayer video game titled Soulja Boy: Rap Empire, now available on PC.

“THE EMPIRE IS JUST GETTING STARTED. Introducing SOULJA BOY: RAP EMPIRE,” he wrote on X. “My own 3D multiplayer video game! Choose your fighter, customize your loadout, and dominate in Free For All, Team Deathmatch & 1v1 Combat Mode! Built different. First rapper to do it.”

As XXL notes, the multiplayer mode appears to be a new update. Per Ohmazine, the playable version from its testing on October 17th did not include the multiplayer mode, noting that the gaming experience differed greatly as it focused on his career. However, the format is possible to change.

Soulja Boy Launches New Video Game

Of course, this isn’t the first time he dabbled in the gaming world. In 2018, he launched the SouljaGame Console and Handheld, which he tried to revamp back in 2025.

The video game comes on the heels of Soulja Boy’s major political announcement. Last week, he shared a social media post indicating that he would be running for office. It’s unclear if he’s specifically running for president, but his announcement surely came across as if he was. His more recent tweet in support of the protesters in France indicated that he’s probably taking his run for office much more seriously than people expected.

Whether or not we see the Soulja Boy for President campaign banner in 2028 remains to be seen, but it certainly will be an interesting side quest in an incredibly eventful career.
