Lil Uzi Vert and Matt Ox are far from strangers. The two are both Philly natives and after Matt Ox's "Overwhelming" song went viral, Uzi reached out to work with the 12-year-old rapper. While that collaboration has yet to surface, they have still maintained a relationship. A clip surfaced today with Lil Uzi Vert and Matt Ox having a friendly boxing competition with one another.

The video starts off with Matt Ox getting some good hits in but it didn't take long for Uzi to come back swinging. After Ox took his shots, Uzi returned them without leaving Ox any room to move, eventually knocking him down. While it's clearly all in good fun, Uzi clearly had the advantage as a fully grown adult boxing a 12-year-old kid but there's something to be said for a Mat Ox to be able  to hold his own against Uzi.

We've seen Uzi's ability as a boxer in the past. He posted a video to his Instagram before of him getting it in with one of his homies, and eventually winning. Uzi may have said that his career in rap may not last longer than three years, at least there's a back up plan if all else fails.

It's been an eventful week for Lil Uzi. Along with dropping his debut album Luv Is Rage 2, he also projected to top the Billboard 200 this week. Within that weekend, he also managed to snag a VMA for "Song of the Summer" with "XO Tour Llif3" as well as performing it as an acoustic rendition of the song with Ed Sheeran during the award ceremonies. On top of that, it seems that Nicki Minaj is interested on hopping on one of the album cuts for a remix. So it's safe to say that Lil Uzi is pretty much collecting wins this past week.

For Young Matt Ox, he seems to be continuing to push his career forward past the viral single. Hopefully that collaboration with Uzi drops soon.
