In November, G Herbo, who had just signed to Cinematic Music Group, hooked up with Joey Bada$$, who's also on the roster of the NYC label, for an unexpected and exciting collaboration, "Lord Knows." The beat came from one of the hottest in the game, Metro Boomin -- providing a different look for both rappers, especially Joey. What's more, the track ended up being among the best work either artist put out all year, and it's supposedly the first of many collabs to come from the two young talents.
The pair has now linked up for the new "Lord Knows" video, which takes place in Joey's native Bed-Stuy. The Pro Era boss begins rapping in the streets, before entering a foreboding project hallway to join Herbo. The video ends, fittingly, as both emcees and their crews triumphantly bellow out the chorus in an empty church.
