The entertainment industry is full of strong personalities and individuals - it is only natural that some are bound to clash. Years ago, Bajan beauty Rihanna and "Level Up" songstress Ciara had a public falling out. The feud ensued when Ciara was on E Entertainment's Fashion Police, and detailed the moment where Rihanna gave her the cold shoulder. When Rihanna was mentioned, Ciara told the show's host Joan Rivers, “I ran into her recently at a party. "She wasn’t the nicest […] It's crazy, because I’ve always loved and respected what she’s done in fashion. It wasn't the most pleasant run-in.”
After the episode was broadcast, Rihanna took to her Twitter account with a few words for CiCi writing, “My bad Ci, did I 4get to tip u? U gangsta huh? Haaa." Ciara then rebutted tweeting that she was not one to play with: “Trust me Rihanna, you don’t want to see me on or off the stage.” In true Ri fashion, Rihanna capped off the exchange tweeting, “Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of.”
Fast forward 7 years into the future, and all seems well between the two performers with Ciara often taking the time to wish Rihanna a happy birthday and celebrating her accomplishments. Ri seems to have confirmed that she harbors no ill will towards Ciara in a recent clip posted to her Instagram showing Ri and her friends enjoying some karaoke. The group belted out classics such as Kelis' "Milkshake," Mary J. Blige's "Family Affair," and Ciara's "Goodies."
