Drake’s NOCTA is bringing four colorways to the Nike Air Max BW in 2027. The pack is reportedly set for Spring and Summer 2027 and will cost $150 per pair.
Two pairs are expected in Spring, “Black & White” and “Dusty Cactus,” while “University Gold” and “Pink & Volt” are planned for Summer.
Overall, the pack looks like a mix of simple and bold. The “Black & White” pair keeps things clean, with a dark rubber mudguard wrapping the toe, sides, and heel.
The “Dusty Cactus” pair is a soft, dusty green, while “University Gold” goes with a golden yellow base and an orange Swoosh. “Pink & Volt” is the loudest of the group.
All four pairs keep the Air Max BW’s low profile and visible Air unit, with NOCTA branding added.
The style codes are IW7854-001, IW7854-300, IW7854-700, and IW7854-600. Pairs are expected through Nike SNKRS and NOCTA.com.
Nothing is official yet, and the images so far are mockups. Nike and NOCTA have not confirmed the colorways or dates. This is one of two Air Max projects Drake’s label has in the works, and the NOCTA Air Max Plus was also expected earlier and reportedly got delayed.
NOCTA Nike Air Max BW Pack
The Air Max BW first arrived in 1991 and was designed by Tinker Hatfield. It has long been a cult favorite, and its most recent big retro run came in 2021 for the 30th anniversary.
NOCTA has been a busy label this year. The brand worked on the NOCTA x Nike KD 19 pack with Kevin Durant, and it launched the Cryoshot Tiempo ‘94 before the World Cup.
Drake and KD also teamed up for a funny Nike ad that showed Drake as a “yes man.”
The BW is a smart choice for NOCTA. It has a classic Air Max look, but it is not as overexposed as the Air Max 90 or Air Max 95.
A $150 price keeps the pack more approachable than some other NOCTA releases. Four colors also give fans plenty of options.
Overall, the NOCTA Air Max BW could be one of the most interesting Nike collabs of 2027.
