Dame Dash chimes in on JAŸ-Z's Super Bowl Halftime performance and it's clear that he doesn't have high expectations.

The NFL confirmed JAŸ-Z as their headliner for the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2027 and guess who won’t be showing up? You guessed it, Dame Dash. During a recent interview with The Art Of Dialogue, Dash dove into his thoughts on the Halftime show, and his expectations.

For one, Dash said that Beyoncé is a guaranteed guest during the performance. However, if Hov tries to bring Dame up, he will unequivocally refuse.

“I’m not going. Don’t even call me for the Super Bowl. I’m not going. I don’t have any desire for that,” he said. “When Dr. Dre and them came out, they brought out the whole team. So him just coming out there without the team and it could not be so good, and–how many times can you bring Beyoncé out? Like how many guests that have nothing to do with your lineage, like how could they resonate.”

Dame also explained how a Super Bowl show can also be a make-or-break moment if Hov’s performance isn’t mind-blowing.

Dame Dash On Halftime Show

However, his criticism of JAŸ-Z also surrounds the optics of having to go on stage these days. As some predict that Kanye West might join him on stage, Dash pointed out that Ye and Jay have been performing concerts on the same day as each other. The Roc-A-Fella cofounder said that Ye has been accomplishing global stadium concerts without the corporate backing and receiving major applause from his audience, while Hov’s concerts lack the same enthusiasm.

We’ll have to see what ends up happening on the Halftime Show stage in 2027 but we’re sure that JAŸ will use his resources to bring out some impressive guests. Who do you want to see JAŸ-Z bring out at the Super Bowl next year? Let us know in the comment section below.
