Some believe Kanye West and JAY-Z will appear on stage at the Super Bowl, but Ye's old tweets suggest otherwise.

With JAY-Z performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in February, there have been all kinds of theories about who he will bring out. Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, and Pharrell almost seem like locks. However, there are some who believe Hov and Kanye West will finally patch things up, once and for all.

On The Joe Budden Podcast, Joe and his co-hosts agreed that Jay and Ye will bury the hatchet. The only person who truly disagreed was Marc Lamont Hill. He felt Ye's past comments about JAY-Z's kids were beyond the pale. Furthermore, the past anti-semitism will likely be shot down by the NFL and its owners.

Over on X, fans are even more skeptical about Ye ever joining JAY-Z on stage. One account even shared Ye's old tweets from last year, in which he made ableist comments about JAY-Z's children.

These comments aren't even that old. They happened about a year and a half ago. Granted, this was before Ye eventually apologized for all of his wrongdoings. However, the fact remains that these wounds are still fresh, and there is no guarantee that Hov would forgive this so soon. In fact, one can make the argument that he doesn't have to forgive these comments at all. They're that bad.

A JAY-Z and Kanye West Super Bowl Halftime Show collaboration is pure fantasy at this point. While it would certainly be a pleasant surprise, it is hard to fathom something like this happening at this juncture.

While we could be wrong, one has to look at the situation in totality. From Ye's anti-semitism to his personal attacks on JAY-Z, there is a perfect storm for keeping Ye off that stage.
