There has been a lot of speculation about Quavo and his family life over the past few years, which he's blown open as of late. He recently revealed he has a daughter, and it turns out he's actually a father of two.
During a recent interview with QRÖMELIFE collaborator Yung Miami on Spotify's "Countdown To" program, Huncho revealed he also has a son. The former City Girl asked the former Migo about these rumors, which led to more reflection.
"Yes, I am a father," he shared. "About time. 35. I needed some. I have a boy and I have a girl. It’s a blessing. l’ve been waiting for that for a minute. [My favorite thing about fatherhood is] just being a dad. My dad died [when I was] four, so I just want to be present at all times. I just want to be there, I want to be the man. What's QRÖMELIFE without bringing in new life, you know? It's fatherhood. This album, it challenged me, fatherhood challenged me. It put me in a point to where now I got to step up and be responsible."
Quavo's Kids
The Atlanta rapper hasn't publicly named the mother of his kids yet, although some fans speculate it may be former collegiate gymnast Erica Fontaine. They have had relationship rumors around them for years now, but no official confirmation from either side. She did spark speculation, though, after posting a picture of her with a baby girl shortly after he showed his baby girl in a short film to promote the new album.
Sadly, Quavo's QRÖMELIFE isn't getting much love from fans. However, the issue seems to be with the production by Pharrell rather than anything from the principal artist. Along with Yung Miami, other guests on the tracklist include Tyler, The Creator, A$AP Rocky, T.I., Future, Justin Timberlake, Lil Baby, and Offset.
With Quavo and Offset prepping the Migos reunion in honor of Takeoff, they have a lot to talk about and reflect on ahead of that reconciliation. Family life is now a part of the equation, and we wish Huncho all the best on this fatherhood journey.
