Quavo is currently revving up to release what might be the most important solo album of his career, QHRÖMELIFE, produced entirely by Pharrell Williams. However, he also has plenty of other music in the cut, all of which is related to the Migos. During a recent interview with Complex, the rapper revealed that three Migos-adjacent albums will be released in 2027, including a Migos reunion album. He also mentioned that we will have a new posthumous album from Takeoff, as well as a Quavo and Takeoff collaborative project.
This isn’t the first time he’s mentioned a new Migos album. He confirmed the news in September, stating that he and Offset have been recording together and plan to follow it with a reunion tour. Evidently, the next year is already looking quite busy for Quavo, but we’re excited to hear that he and Offset are not only on better terms personally, but creatively as well.
Speaking to Complex, Quavo explained how Takeoff’s passing “eased” the tension that existed between him and Offset.
"It threw out all the things that I was upset about or that we had friction about," he told Complex. “It was enough for me to say, alright, cool. Whatever you’re going through, I’ll go through with you.”
Quavo & Offset Reunion
Offset and Quavo will reunite this Friday on QHRÖMELIFE. The two already debuted their latest collaboration, “Away,” during a listening party. Quavo described the song as something that came out of the “2018 pack,” and acknowledged that their chemistry remains strong whenever they link up on wax.
Quavo’s upcoming project is stacked with top-tier features, including Tyler, The Creator, A$AP Rocky, T.I., Lil Baby, Future, Justin Timberlake, and Yung Miami. Are you looking forward to hearing QHRÖMELIFE? Let us know in the comments below.
