This marks Chief Keef's first show in the city of Chicago since 2012.

Chief Keef’s triumphant return to Chicago went down without a hitch, it appears. The rapper made his way back to his hometown for his first headlining show in 14 years after the show was pushed back from its September 12th date at the Huntington Bank Pavilion. It should be noted that he has performed in the surrounding area for Lyrical Lemonade this year and in 2024, per Pitchfork, though those concerts happened in Bridgeview, Illinois. That makes this concert his first within city limits in over a decade.

The September 12th show was pushed back due to travel issues and announced only half an hour before the show was set to begin. Live Nation chalked it up to travel issues, which Chief Keef appeared to corroborate on social media when he called out a “pilot who got very racist” that ultimately forced him to cancel his flight.

“No I ain’t happy, yes I am upset,” Keef wrote on social media after cancelling the performance. “I know all of you anticipated this just like me ... And I'm sincerely sorry that this happened trust me.”

Chief Keef Live 2026 Tour

Prior to this concert, Chief Keef touched the stage with Kanye West during his back-to-back shows at Soldier Field in Chicago for his comeback tour.

Chief Keef’s current tour will continue on October 1st in New Orleans before heading to cities like New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Denver, San Francisco, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. The Chief Keef 2026 tour is in support of his latest project, Skeletor, which arrived back in April. Since then, he’s also collaborated with Katy Perry for the remix of “Legendary Lovers.”

We will keep you posted on any further updates surrounding Chief Keef and his current tour. Check out the footage above and sound off with your thoughts in the comment section below. Will you be seeing Chief Keef live this year?
