Yella Beezy stands accused of paying men to murder Mo3 back in 2020, and his trial comes after the conviction of shooter Kewon White.

The Yella Beezy and Mo3 case finally experienced some significant strides this year following the conviction of Kewon White. He shot and killed Mo3 back in 2020, and prosecutors are accusing Beezy of paying him to carry out the murder. After Yella Beezy's trial was delayed, we now know when his next court date is. In other words, we know when he and his legal team will be able to start to develop this case and outline what's next.

According to the Dallas County Clerk and court documents reportedly obtained by No Jumper on Instagram, the rapper's next hearing will take place on October 6 of this year in Dallas, Texas. Judge Chika Anyiam will reportedly preside ahead of jury selection later in the month.

Previously, Yella Beezy and his attorneys requested to delay the trial, which had been set for Monday, September 14. The defense team wanted the written record from Kewon White's trial and had a scheduling conflict with an expert witness they plan to call to court. Prosecutors did not oppose the request, and Judge Anyiam approved.

When Is Yella Beezy's Trial?

Now, Yella Beezy's murder-for-hire trial concerning Mo3 will begin with jury selection on October 26, 2026. He has denied the allegations against him.

As mentioned before, Kewon White received a life sentence for the murder of Mo3. But he denied receiving any payment from Beezy following the conviction.

The upcoming trial will presumably focus on a lot of the same evidence, arguments, and narrative both sides of the court clashed over in White's trial. But there are a lot of important factors to consider for Yella's case in particular, specifically proof of payment. We will see how both sides of the court respond to this debacle.

Also, there's a third codefendant in this sprawling Yella Beezy case. Prosecutors alleged Devin Brown was in the car with Kewon White when he killed Mo3. Brown also faces capital murder charges in connection to the Interstate 35 ambush in Dallas.

For now, fans will have to wait for more updates to emerge on or around October 6. This year, the Mo3 murder case could finally wrap up.
