Nicki Minaj's husband Kenneth Petty has been in a years-long battle with Jennifer Hough over sexual assault allegations.

Kenneth Petty continues to face a legal battle with years-long sexual assault accuser Jennifer Hough. He's still trying to dismiss the civil case against him. Petty served about four years in prison after a conviction of criminal charges related to the 1994 case, but the civil lawsuit about these allegations and him and his wife Nicki Minaj allegedly threatening Hough continues. To be clear, Nicki Minaj is no longer a part of this lawsuit.

According to an exclusive AllHipHop report from Grouchy Greg Watkins, Kenneth Petty and his legal team submitted the accuser's old 1994 letter to a federal judge to seek the suit's dismissal. The Thursday (September 10) filing claims Hough's letter amid Kenneth's pending criminal case disproves her current lawsuit over sexual assault and emotional distress claims. Hough has reportedly claimed she doesn't know who wrote or submitted this letter.

In the alleged letter, she asked to drop charges against him. Jennifer Hough also allegedly claimed her rape allegations were "half true and half false" when she made them in 1994. Hough allegedly claimed she and Petty got into a physical altercation at his home after running into each other at a bus stop. She allegedly left after she complied with his request to have sex with him. Jennifer Hough said in the alleged letter that the situation went out of control. She defended their friendship along with saying "he's not a rapist."

Kenneth Petty's Lawsuit

Kenneth Petty claims this alleged letter from Hough shows she's exaggerating her story in the lawsuit. He denied threatening Hough or sending people to do so, claiming their sexual encounters were consensual.

Jennifer Hough's allegations regarding Kenneth Petty include claims that he sexually assaulted her at knifepoint after running into her at a bus stop. She claimed she reported the alleged assault at John Adams High School after escaping his home.

Kenneth Petty's sex offender registry appearance and his attempts to eliminate it are key factors in this case's resurfaced dealings. His lawyer reportedly asked the court to delay an October 12 pretrial filing amid his motion to dismiss. We will see how this decades-long situation inches toward a resolution.
