Last week's slate of hip-hop albums and songs left a lot to be desired. While there were some dope releases by the likes of Blu and Sndtrak, there just wasn't much else to choose from. Thankfully, that is changing this Friday as a multitude of releases are on the horizon.
For instance, Jhené Aiko is returning with her first album in six years, Westwise Whimsy. In fact, this album contains a feature from Kendrick Lamar, which is an extremely exciting prospect. There are also songs with Ab-Soul and Larry June.
Nine Vicious is dropping SEDITION, while Quavo and T.I. are joining forces on "Backwards." EST Gee has a new album out called Bigger Than The Devil, while Rich The Kid and Gunna team up for "Too Bad."
