Jhené Aiko is dropping a new album, "Westside Whimsy" on Friday, and according to the tracklist, Kendrick Lamar will be on the album.

Kendrick Lamar has been fairly reclusive as of late. However, it does appear as though he is looking to change that. He recently offered up a verse on DAHI's album, and he is reportedly going to be featured on AZ Chike's upcoming project as well.

Now, it is being confirmed by Jhené Aiko herself that a Kendrick Lamar verse is being released on Friday. Yesterday, Aiko revealed that her first album in six years, Westside Whimsy, would be coming out on September 11. Today, she delivered the tracklist, and it was here that fans were told about Lamar's feature on the song "So Good."

Of course, this is an incredibly interesting prospect. Kendrick Lamar always delivers quality features on R&B records, and we have no reason to believe that won't also be the case on this Aiko collab.

As for the rest of the album, there are 20 songs in total. Furthermore, there are features from Ab-Soul, Tyga, Larry June, and OHMA. Of course, the Kendrick Lamar feature stands out as the one everyone will be rushing to listen to.

That said, the Larry June verse should be fire, especially given he and Aiko's newfound relationship. We are also eager to hear what Ab-Soul has to say on the record.

After a boring New Music Friday during Labor Day Weekend, we appear to be back in the swing of things. Aiko is dropping alongside a plethora of other dope artists, and we are looking forward to listening to these projects.
