Rick Ross' wealth has been a hot topic of debate this past year. When he was spotted flying commercial, everyone had an opinion on it. Of course, this is because Ross has always flexed his private jet with pride. Eventually, the rapper revealed that he was getting the plane fitted with Starlink and needed to park it for a while. Regardless, his detractors responded with skepticism.
Recently, a Hedge Fund Manager by the name of Eric Jackson made a video detailing how Ross has relinquished ownership of his Wingstop restaurants. Jackson is a Drake superfan who became a content creator of sorts during the now-infamous Drake vs. everyone beef. Given this information, it's not a surprise he would look into Ross' finances.
Well, as it turns out, the video made its way back to Ross. On Instagram, the artist addressed all the chatter around his wealth and revealed that he sold the Wingstop franchises because he wanted to focus on stocks.
Rick Ross Reveals The Truth
Ross says stocks are able to build his wealth much faster, and are on a completely different level from the Wingstops. It's a plausible explanation, although there were fans in Akademiks' comments section who felt like this was another convenient excuse.
"Ain’t tryna be funny, but Ross always have an explanation. Dude need to be investigated," one person wrote. "He got a explanation for everything lol," another echoed.
Needless to say, there is a ton of skepticism surrounding Rick Ross right now, and the rapper is not having any of it. As it turns out, beefing with Drake turns the internet into the world's most parasocial pocket watchers.
