Jhené Aiko is officially back. Six years after releasing Chilombo, the R&B singer returns with her fourth studio album, Westside Whimsy. The 20-track project arrives after a surprisingly short rollout, with Jhené announcing it just days before its September 11 release. Still, she says the album has been “six years in the making.” The guest list includes Ab-Soul, Tyga, Larry June, Ohma, and Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick joins Jhené on “So Good,” marking their first collaboration in more than a decade after previously connecting on “Growing Apart (To Get Closer)” and “Stay Ready (What a Life).” Social media has been excited about this release ever since she revealed that she'd be making her return.
